Nearest border crossing points:

  1. Uzljebic border crossing (BIH – HR) is situated 3 kilometers from the National Park entrance no. 6. During the summer tourist season this boarder is recommended for the National Park visitors especially to the passengers who are traveling from Croatian coast. This border crossing is not intended for cargo but only for passenger traffic therefore there is less traffic.
  2. Izacic – Licko Petrovo Selo (BIH – HR) is 13 km away from Bihac and 23 km from Una National Park and is intended for all categories. During the summer tourist season there is a possibility of traffic jam and longer retention at the border.
  3. Strmica border crossing (BIH – HR) is the closest to the southern part of the National Park and it is recommended for visitors coming from the Dalmatian coast (Sibenik, Split or Dubrovnik).

In the case of heavy traffic for travelers coming from the north and the north – west of Croatia to enter BIH we advise a route via border crossing Užljebić: Plitvice Lakes – Bjelopolje – Donji Lapac – Frkasic – Uzljebic – Una National Park. For the visitors coming from the south of Croatia (Dalmatian Coast – Sibenik, Split, and Dubrovnik) we recommend Strmica border crossing.
