Snimanje dokumentarno-promotivnog filma u sklopu projekta Sava TIES

Making of a documentary-promotional film regarding the project Sava TIES

In Friday, 30th of August, within the planned activities from the WP2 of the Sava TIES project, in the National Park Una started the filming of the promotional-documentary film. National Park Una was visited by representatives of “Safarek production”, who visited the Pilot areas and filmed the activities of removing the Japanese Knotweed.

At the same time, first cycle of exterminating the Japanese knotweed (Reynoutria x bohemica) – species that threatens our ecosystems in the National Park and its contact zones, took place, and it was done both, with mechanical and chemical methods. As it was said by the representatives of “Safarek production”, movie script, beside the activities on pilot areas, will promote natural and cultural values of every protected area in this project, which will certainly be helpful in future promotion, both Sava TIES project and protected areas within the project, and network of protected areas along the river Sava - Sava Parks Network.
